Zedd is proud to be named Goodwill Industries International’s (Toronto, Eastern, Central and Northern Ontario) 2014 Diversity Champion. The award was bestowed to Zedd at Goodwill’s annual Employee Appreciation reception on November 12th, 2014. “This award is particularly gratifying”, Jon Mercer, Director of Toronto Operations proclaimed. “In just three years we have managed to entrench ourselves in the community, establish our brand, and cultivate a reputation as an employer of choice”.
The Diversity Champion award recognizes the diversity of the employer’s workforce, from both an age and ethnicity standpoint. Of equal importance is the employer’s ability to retain employees and Zedd’s low attrition rate was pointed out. In Toronto, Zedd has amassed a diverse workforce of more than 300 individuals and the Canadian owned and operated company continues to grow. “We’re entirely committed to the community and to the incredibly diverse demographic that it has to offer”.
